PURPOSE |
Excel is a highly concentrated accelerator and plasticizer which will substantially reduce the cycle time required for the manufacture of precast products.
OTHER BENEFITS |
Excel will accelerate the green strength of your finished product more than calcium chloride without the inherent problems. Excel combats spalling without "bubbles". It enables precast forms to be stripped in one-half (1/2) the normal time. Excel produces high early strength which will enable masonry or concrete to bear loads earlier and reduces cracks. The workability of the mix will be substantially improved and the surface finish of your finished product will be vastly superior. Excel will eliminate the need for a plasticizer or air-entraining admixture. Excel is compatible with most other additives, however if you intend to use other admixtures, please contact us at the number listed below for consultation.
APPLICATION |
The recommended dosage rate for Excel depends on the ambient temperature as follows:

WARNING: Wear chemical type goggles for protection of eyes and impervious gloves and clothing to protect skin. Wash thoroughly after handling. Excel is potentially corrosive and should not be used for concrete products containing rebar. For rebar products, we recommend only the use of Pipecure.
STORAGE AND AGITATION |
Store this product in areas where the temperature exceeds 45º F and protect from freezing. Shelf life normally is 12 months when stored in a reasonable environment and not contaminated by foreign materials. Occasional agitation is required when stored for periods exceeding 30 days.
