HI-PSI DRY

Hi-Psi Dry is a highly efficient plasticizer that has been formulated to provide higher strength and a smoother finish (no swipe) to no-slump concrete products such as blocks, pavers, roof tiles, and bricks as well as low-slump precast and architectural products.

In addition to improving the appearance of your finished product, Hi-Psi Dry will increase the lubricity of the concrete mix allowing it to fill and better pack in the mold, thereby producing a stronger and less porous product. This will allow you to add more water to the mix without slumping, which will result in even more compaction. Hi-Psi Dry also reduces efflorescence by tying up soluble salts and will allow you to reduce pigment dosages while maintaining the same color scale and uniformity.

Test results on concrete brick with a seven day cure was as follows:

In most applications, Hi-Psi Dry should be added at the rate of 4 to 20 ounces per 100 lbs (260 to 1,300 ml per 100 kg) of cementitious material. If the aggregate is porous or the cement ratio is low, then more Hi-Psi Dry will be required. Add the concentrated solution during the final water phase of the mixing cycle without diluting. Do not add this product at an earlier stage as this will reduce its effectiveness.  Hi-Psi Dry is compatible with most other additives, however, if you intend to use other admixtures, please contact us at the address/telephone number listed below for consultation.

Store this product in areas where the temperature exceeds 45^o F and protect from freezing. Shelf life normally is 12 months when stored in a reasonable environment and not contaminated by foreign materials. Occasional agitation is required when stored for a period exceeding 30 days.
