HI-PSI WET

Hi-Psi Wet is a very efficient high range plasticizer that has been formulated to provide higher strength and a very high quality finish for wet cast concrete products.

Early strength is accelerated allowing early release of the beds and the finished product will have less shrinkage, cracking and bug holes. Finishing costs will be substantially reduced. Hi-Psi Wet will increase the workability of the concrete mix allowing it to fill and better pack in the mold, thereby producing a stronger and less porous product. Also this product also will enable you to maintain a high slump for a longer period of time during an extended or delayed pour and will generally eliminate the need to add water to the mix during such occasions. Hi-Psi Wet conforms to ASTM C-494 Type F requirements.

Test results on concrete brick with a seven day cure was as follows:

For most applications, Hi-Psi Wet should be added at the rate of 9 to 18 ounces per 100 lbs (585 to 1170 ml per 100 kg) of cementitious material. For best results, bring mix to two-inch slump before adding this product. Then add concentrated Hi-Psi Wet and continue to mix thoroughly before adding the additional water required to reach the desired slump. Generally, for the same workability, the total water requirement will be reduced by 15%, or more. Hi-Psi Wet is compatible with most other additives, however, it should not be used with any other plasticizers. Store this product in areas where the temperature exceeds 45^o F and protect from freezing. Keep the container lid in place at all times when not in use. Shelf life normally is 12 months when stored in a reasonable environment and not contaminated by foreign materials. Occasional agitation is required when stored for a period exceeding 30 days.
